1/27/07 — Apologies for the long haitus. Much has happened though. The Tenspeeds "s/t" cdr is currently available, and features seven new songs to get stuck in your head. Also, I just finished printing up two zines. One is called "Giant Steps" and is somewhat of a per-zine, featuring comic contributions, and an interview with stencil artist Chris Stain. The second, is a mini-comic entitled "Making Plans and Talking Shit."

The near future will bring brand new Treetops stuff, in the form of a 6 song cdr called "twink-a-lee." Not sure when the Die Emperor Die discography project will come out hopefully within the coming few months. Other than that maybe some more small zines...well see.

9/7/06 — Welcome to the PassionateYouthThing website, the online manifestation of the box of tapes that I have sitting in my bedroom. Which is to say that PYT is my small, personal excursion into the practice of releasing recorded sounds. Specifically, sounds made by my friends and, specifically, released in relatively small quantities and sold for relatively cheap prices.

PYT #1 was just released in August. It's an 8-song cassette by "treetops" entitled "write out all the lyrics from the first crass lp on your math notebook..." Check out the releases section for more information and mp3s.

Work has commenced on "The Tenspeeds" cdr which should be out within the next month. Prepare yourself for an unrelenting distorto-pop-attack!
